A breather off work

I'm so looking forward to the coming Friday.. coz I'll be going away for a short holiday! Finally I'm able to catch a breather from work. Though work is piling up, but am glad that I'm learning what I've wanted to learn.

Next week gonna start my boxer-cise lessons le.. Hope I won't get aches for the entire week.. LOL! Time to burn those fats off! Been eating much chocolates ever since I've started working.. coz my boss keeps feeding me with it! *gosh!* He's like trying to make me gain more weight, which I DON'T WANT TO! someone pls help me to abstain from those irresistible chocos!

Short update

It's been slightly more than a month since I've started working.. And it's reali kinda no life.. Everyday after work.. reached home.. eat dinner.. bathe.. etc.. then will be time for bed le.. So tired till don't even feel like going out at times. Probably I'm still not tuned to the working life yet bah. Sometimes, work late too.. But time passes rather fast when you're busy. Not a bad thing too la. Juz that weekends too SHORT! Wanna more of weekends...

Nothing much to update about work too.. Kinda routine le.. Oh.. my 2nd bro has left for his further studies to London. It's be about 9 months before he'll be back for his summer vacation. Hope he does well there. Though we are still able to communicate through sms and skype.. not bad lah.. Kinda convenient too.. But gonna be a long time till he finishes his entire course. Well, everyone's looking ahead for the future..

It's been a wonderful week...

Been more than a week since my last update.. Alrite.. I shall continue from my last post and try to remember as much as I can..

Last Mon to Wed.. was basically working.. then sort of tendered my temp job as I decided to accept the new job offer.. I'm really glad that they wanted me.. And that ended my almost 3 months long of job hunting.. *phew..*

On Thurs, took my mom's car for servicing and then did some errands till evening before I headed back home. And on Fri, it was my convocation. Had to wake up VERY early as we need to be seated by 9.15am. So happy and excited!! Because I get to see all my friends and mates and also to be officially confer as graduate. Took several pics with my friends.. and might take some time for me to upload the pics.. so pls be patient with me ah..

On Sat, went out to Raffles Place to help out with some errands and then spend all my time till evening shopping ard. And then met up with JJ. Enjoyed ourselves that night at 'Song of the Seas' and watching '1408'. Time just flies without us realising.. and we're together for 2 years le. And on Sunday, we had our dinner at 'The Ship' and also went to collect my top before heading back home.

And coming to this week... I started my new job on Monday. Had been looking forward to this day ever since I accepted the offer. It's nice meeting new people! I think I will love my job.. but guess it's still a bit early to say that la.. Who knows.. I might start whining when I'm tight up with work. So far, things at work been good. Learning to take over the stuff and knowing more about the job and industry. But there's still one more thing I must try to get use to.. which is......... adjusting my time to sleep early and wake up early. For the past 2 days, I tend to get the sleepy feeling.. ESPECIALLY after lunch time! Just can't help it lah.. and hope I'll get over it soon.

Piano.. Fishes.. Dinner.. Mahjong..

Woke up ard 9am plus today... *dunno why I woke up so early on a Saturday morning..* then had my breakfast.. I then decided to join Jasmin to bring luke to his piano class..

Then after his class, we went to their place for lunch.. and slacked a bit... then joined Mike and his kids to Qian Hu Fish Farm.. It's my first trip there.. and saw many different types of fishes.. saw some interesting fishes too.. *lol*

Then we went back to jj's place and then went out again in the evening for dinner with his friends.. They had booked a Korean restaurant which was located in Chinatown area.. Was surprised to see the place packed with people.. and luckily they had already made reservations. The restaurant is called 'Togi' and the food is really delicious.. forgotten to take pics coz we were just too hungry! A total of around 16pax for the dinner.. First time so many in this group having dinner together.. We had Stone Bowl Rice, Korean Ramen and some BBQ pork meat.. and also some authentic Korean side dishes...

After the dinner.. all of us headed to Gao's place to celebrate CY's birthday.. It was a surprise for him.. and then we played mahjong.. till around 1am plus.. so shag leh.. but enjoyed the game la.. Anyone wanna play mj?? *lol..

Late nite supper

Dunno why today mood wasn't tat good... But still I left my workplace at 10pm plus coz wanted to wait for Papa Jino to finish his class.. and also I didn't wanted to go home so early.. I reached home slightly after 11pm and then I received jj's sms while on my way home. And just when I wanted to lock the door, I got a scare from him! My heart almost dropped out coz I thought it was some robber or some crazy people following me home... Can't blame me leh.. coz I'm living in the area which is near to the 'siao geng'...

He said I didn't read his sms.. because it just happened that I was already at my door and wanted to go to my room before reading that sms.. He said it was a surprise... and indeed a real SURPRISE for me.. *lol..*


And so.. he waited for me to bathe and then we headed out for supper.. Went to Jalan Kayu coz I had the craving for pratas.. and the place was so packed with people lor.. but luckily the food was served within a short while and here's what we had...

Last night after work, headed down to PS to meet JJ and his friends.. coz had booked tickets to watch the movie 'Rush Hour 3'.. Super hilarious show.. Can watch it for a good laugh.. but for story wise, not very good I can say.. the movie ended without much sense too.. and it's a short show too.. think roughly about 1.5 hours only..

Sweet WORDINGS

Didn't do much things today coz had a headache for first half of the day... Wanted to catch a show in the evening but the tickets were selling fast.. and therefore pushed it back.. Ended up.. headed to the arcade to 'catch' sweets instead... Spent quite a lot there... but was glad that I've gotten what I wanted.. thanks to my dearest bf.. and he was really lucky enough to have hit the JACKPOT twice!! *good day* Here's our catches of the day...

Mini party

Had a little mini farewell celebration for Emily today.. She'll be leaving for a better prospect and wishing her all the best in her future endeavour. Had been planning for this since last week.. and Alycia and me went to buy the party food during lunch.. We ordered 2 regular pizzas... then went to buy 2 regular sushi sets and a variety of cakes.. Wanted to give Emily a surprise.. but ended up.. she 'found' out.. *haha..* Nevertheless, had pretty much food on the table for a feast! All of us did enjoy the moments and certainly hope Emily liked what we planned for her. Got her a small pressie as well.. Check out the pics that we took!

Oiishi!!

My bro's finally back from his 3 weeks plus of sea & air travel to HongKong & Japan.. So envy.. that he get to go to the land of the rising SUN. How I wished I had the chance to go there too... Well.. he wasn't there for holidays.. but working.. nevertheless.. it is still a trip to Japan. He bought tonnes of stuff back.. food, clothes, books, bags... Got Japan mochi.. very beautiful packaging and it taste yummy too! And there's snacks from HongKong too.. Everyone in the family has a present from my dear bro.. *Thanks bro!*
